BGY Airport Granfondo Returns to Santini’s Home for Pre-Race Activities
For the second consecutive year, the Santini Cycling headquarters in Bergamo will host all pre-race activities on the eve of the BGY Airport Granfondo, scheduled for Sunday, May 4, 2025.
The BGY Airport Granfondo, taking place on Sunday, May 4, 2025, in Bergamo under the aegis of the Italian Cycling Federation, confirms its headquarters at the Santini Cycling facility, located at Via Zanica 14 in the Malpensata district.On Saturday, May 3, the renowned Bergamo-based cycling apparel company will host race number and kit distribution, the Expo Village, the press room, and the event’s official office.
This partnership further strengthens the bond between the Santini family’s enterprise and the BGY Airport Granfondo. Santini Cycling, a company with over sixty years of experience in producing technical cycling apparel, is a prestigious partner of the UCI, the Tour de France, the Tour de France Femmes, and Monument Classics such as Paris-Roubaix, Liège-Bastogne-Liège, and La Flèche Wallonne. Additionally, it has long been the creator of the exclusive collector’s edition jerseys for the BGY Airport Granfondo.
The company headquarters will open its doors to thousands of cyclists and enthusiasts arriving in Bergamo for the event. With spacious indoor and outdoor areas and pleasant green spaces, the Santini facility will be the beating heart of the BGY Airport Granfondo in the hours leading up to the competition, which will take riders through Bergamo’s iconic roads nd valleys.
The venue will be open to the public and participants on Saturday, May 3, from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, offering entertainment and refreshment areas. On Sunday, May 4, the festivities will move to the traditional race village at Bergamo’s Lazzaretto, near the start and finish area in Via Marzabotto, where the 2025 BGY Airport Granfondo will come to life.
